Hastings - The Turning Point of English History
Lots of students and tourists from all over the world like to go to the famous seaside resort of Hastings. Several kilometres of pebble beach run along Hastings seafront offering the possibility for a brilliant day of relaxation, or a nice afternoon tea in one of the cafés on the Pier while enjoying the fascinating sea views.
One thing you should not miss while you are in Hastings is its Old Town. Explore the renowned fishing fleet, the Underwater World, or the Smugglers Caves as well as the remains of the castle erected by William the Conqueror after he had successfully invaded the land in 1066.
Due to the great variety of typical English pubs, parks and museums, as well as a cinema, a theatre, and several sports facilities, you should enjoy your time in Hastings.
