  • Day 1 – Departure from your home location Your school trip to Cranbrook begins in your home town.
    The overnight coach journey takes you through the Netherlands, Belgium and France to Calais.
  • Day 2 – Calais – Dover Castle – Host Families Around midday, you’ll take the ferry from Calais to Dover. At Dover Castle, England’s oldest fortress, you’ll travel back in time — from medieval history to the dramatic underground tunnels and wartime passages of the Second World War.
    You will arrive at your destination in the early evening. The host family coordinator will greet you at the coach before the host families welcome and collect their guests.
  • Day 3 – Explore London London, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard and The Gherkin – with or without a professional guide.
    TAILORED TO YOUR GROUP – with customised itinerary suggestions, recommended day travel passes for the London Underground ("Tube"), and exclusive SENLAC city quizzes complete with maps to help students explore the capital in an engaging and interactive way.
  • Day 4 – Canterbury – Leeds Castle Stroll through Canterbury’s charming medieval streets and visit its world-famous cathedral, as well as The Canterbury Tales attraction. During the summer months, the city can also be explored from a different perspective with a traditional punting trip along the River Stour.

    Discover Leeds Castle, often described as “the loveliest castle in the world”. This picturesque moated castle boasts a fascinating history, beautiful gardens, a vast maze, and an enchanting grotto, making it a memorable destination for students of all ages.
  • Day 5 – Coastal day: Beachy Head & Brighton Walk along the dramatic coastline of Beachy Head and the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs, one of the most spectacular walking routes in South East England. Afterwards, enjoy time in Brighton, England’s most popular seaside resort, with its beach, famous Palace Pier, and Sea Life Centre.
    Explore the city on a guided walk, taking in the exotic Royal Pavilion, the unique shops tucked away in the historic Lanes, cosy cafés, and, of course, the chance to sample traditional fish and chips by the sea.
  • Day 6 - Greenwich – London – Dover – Calais In the morning, you’ll say goodbye to your host families before travelling to Greenwich. Here, you’ll discover the National Maritime Museum and stand on the Prime Meridian at the Royal Observatory — where east meets west.
    A scenic Thames boat cruise then takes you to Westminster, offering fantastic views of London’s skyline along the way. From there, you’ll continue exploring the city at your own pace.

    In the afternoon, you may enjoy a West End musical or choose from a range of customised programme options. In the evening, you’ll travel to Dover for the overnight ferry crossing to Calais.
  • Day 7 – Arrival Back Home Your London school trip draws to a close with an overnight journey through France, Belgium and the Netherlands, before you arrive back home later in the day — full of new experiences and unforgettable memories.
