School Trip to Tonbridge

On your school trip to Tonbridge, you’ll experience this charming market town in the county of Kent, located 40 kilometres south-east of London and stretching along the banks of the River Medway. It forms part of the so-called “Garden of England”, a region renowned for its picturesque countryside, including Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest. The town’s landmark is Tonbridge Castle – a medieval fortress dating back to the 11th century, which was rebuilt in stone in 1230 following the Battle of Hastings.

Attractive excursion destinations such as Canterbury and Hever Castle – and above all its proximity to London – make Tonbridge an ideal base for a school trip.
